Today something terrible happened to the alpine garden bed...
Something (or someone) came in and bit off half of nearly every single Sempervivum I had, and dug up a bunch of plants. Then, I realized that the Crocus sprouts were missing. Well, apparently, whatever came in also decided to decapitate every single one, even the ones that were still budding 
I think to help the Sempervivum I should keep the halves dry and callous? There's not much I can do about the Crocus though.
