It's been a while since I posted, my laptop crashed at the beginning of April, hard drive was fried, nothing to recover. Thankfully I had done a full back-up end of Jan. ( I neglected a few weeks but it was still early in the garden season so I hadn't taken too many pictures that ended up being lost, still a lesson learned) I used my IPad for posting, emails etc. and 'borrowed' hubby's laptop until I finally had the funds this week for a new one. He was glad that I removed the 28 folders containing over 2,000 images off his computer, yeah, I took that many in just over 5 weeks! Anyway, I have lots to share so will be creating new entries over the next few days.
It was a relatively drier than normal winter, California is way below normal water levels, a real determent to the state's food crops (and wineries!)
We did have several good rain storms up here, a few real 'frog stranglers', flooding several areas around town because of how fast and hard it came down, monsoon style I guess! I do love the look of blooms with raindrops so after one gentle shower I grabbed the camera to get some close up details. best enjoyed enlarged of course!
