My Thread Leaf agave produced four stalks at the same time. It is between 10 and 12 years old. I had to dig it up a few months ago to make room for our RV parking. My daughter took it and gave it to her Father In Law and he planted it on his land close to his house. My daughter was amazed when she went by the other day and saw the stalks of flowers on this plant. We had no idea this plant would produce something so unique and beautiful!!! Sorry I gave it up now but happy to know that someone is enjoying it. At least I was able to view these pictures of it. I would buy a new one but don't know if I can wait another 10 or so years for a bloom.
