Well, so much for that *LOL*. The bowl crumbled the minute I looked at it wrong and the block fell all to pieces when I tried to lift it off the mold. I did another bowl this time with 3 pts. cement, 2pts perlite, 1 pt. peat and this looks pretty good *fingers crossed*. I'll try unmolding it later in the week. This second bowl I did INSIDE a mold with another bowl to press into it and I really packed the stuff in good. I think maybe my first attempts weren't packed down hard enough.
Got all my seed starting cups, trays, cells, etc. scrubbed out and bleached and ready to go. Filled up a partial flat with medium; I think tomorrow I'll start my Chinese cabbage, pak choi and possibly peppers (which take FORRR....EVA to start for me).
I'll tell ya; I could use some good news and some cheering up. Feeling so blue today: it just seems like everywhere I look there's another thing to worry about. At least the day did clear off and warm up a bit so a walk was very nice. I feel guilty though; like I wasted yesterday and today just moping around instead of getting out there and doing some things.
