Ugh. What ugly weather we've been having for the past few days. Snow, ice, sleet, rain, fog - bleh! What an awful first week in February. My birthday was February 6th. Originally, hubby and I were going to Long Island to spend the weekend with family. We had planned it months ago. February is our BIG birthday month, so about 15 of us were going to have a get-together to celebrate. It went downhill so fast.
My one SIL had to change plans and go to a friend's house upstate NY due to a death in her good friend's family. The get together was called off.
I came down with a bad cold the next day - and 2 days after that had a mild diverticulitus attack. The cold, I couldn't do a thing about. The diverticulitis, well, I have been eating the WRONG FOODS since before Christmas. It was my own fault. Feeling a bit better today, but just so TIRED. And I feel so foggy-headed. I hate that feeling.
And I heard on the weather report that this weekend is going to be VERY cold. And next week even COLDER. Where's that groundhog? I'm gonna hit him with a snow shovel!
