Currently 66 deg. F. and overcast with a predicted high of 80 deg. and 80 percent chance of rain.
Wanted to get out before the rain and take a few pictures, I am trying to be more observant in the garden this year!
I just planted the cosmos seedlings out into the garden the other day and I noticed that a few of them were already showing little buds. I plan to try and plant some throughout the year.
I did get my little order from Wild's planted, they don't look like much now, but I am hoping to see a bloom on most of them before the year is over. Look like little white shoots right now.
My Asiatic lilies are starting to grow, hoping the deer don't find them this year!
The purple phlox is starting to show a little more growth also.
The tall bearded Iris that survived are looking healthy.
The Azaleas, Dogwoods and Bridalwreath are starting to bloom.
Even the Holly bushes still look festive with their bright red berries.
The Cyclamen seem to be taking turns blooming I was hoping they would all bloom at the same time, but doesn't seem to be happening.
Have the first rose buds, these are on Lowell Thomas
I think this Dutch Iris is just beautiful. Need to get more.
The Amaryllis are just right ready to start opening up. Notice how low the one bud is to the ground, it was that way last year, a big beautiful red bloom, but right off the ground.
Here is my Sombrero Salsa Red Coneflower, looking pretty healthy.
More things growing but I will save a few photos for later.
