<p>There is a lot happening here these days.</p>
<p>Fall has sprung and I'm loving the mild days and cold nights. Will soon have to bring all of my house plants in for the winter.</p>
<p>The fish will have to come in soon too. They spent last winter upstairs in the 72 gallon aquarium (there aren't any tropicals in it and probably won't be for a long time, if ever) instead of their usual home in the basement pond. I'd like to see them go back into their basement home and turn the 72 gallon aquarium into a new terrarium.</p>
<p>Hubby quit his job at the diner up the road. He lasted a whole 2 weekends. It's now official, the man can NOT keep a job, no matter how easy of a job it is.</p>
<p>Re the above, I am now looking hard for a second part time job for myself. I need an extra $2000 this winter for heat. I was *this* close to getting a job at the store behind where I currently work but they're looking for someone to work week ends, which I already work. It was perfect...I work 3 - 11pm and they need someone to work 11pm - 8 am. Alas, they didn't think it was such a good plan, figured it would be too much for me...grrrr...they aren't the ones paying the bills and I know I could do it! I'd still have 4 days off to recuperate.</p>
<p>I've dug out my yarns and crochet hooks and have been crocheting up a storm. Slippers, scarfs, tea cozies, anything I can find a pattern for. It helps me to keep my mind off of everything else, Mom, Brother, finances.</p>
