Another nice day, temp. around 80 deg. F. and partly cloudy.
Well the plants I thought might be sunflowers are not. They are some type of amaranth it appears. What makes me think so, because the amaranth beetles are all over it and eating it up already! I have never grown amaranth and I don't ever recall seeing an amaranth beetle before, but it sure didn't take them long to find my little plants, they must have been waiting for me to plant them.
I have the first scap on one of the plants I bought from In The Neighborhood Daylilies and planted early this month.
South Sea Enchantment:
My Lollypop asiatic lily bloomed today. This thing is suppose to multiply like crazy, but mine does not seem to multiply at all, I have had it three years now and still the one plant.
