Seedfork's blog: Butterflies?

Posted on May 5, 2015 3:37 PM

It seemed to warm up much faster today, but the actual high was about the same. By the end of the week we are supposed to be up around 90 degs. F. That should get my daylilies to opening up properly, and get the color of the blooms more saturated.
Nothing much going on in the garden today, pulling weeds in the lawn mostly, and that is actually a hopeless cause, don't know why I even try.
Lots of these little butterflies? out today, don't know what kind they are but they were all over the flowers in the garden. They may be skippers, seems like I recall finding names for some last year, but I have forgotten already.
