Two years in the making/planning, but the bog garden and fountain are officially open for business. I got the fountain set up and running yesterday and the little bog garden area looks very nice. It's still a bit bare ...I'm still accumulating bog/damp ground plants, but what is there is doing well.
Also got my two giant pots set up below the deck rail and this year I put up my grapevine-and-honeysuckle tee pees in each pot. I planted pink morning glory seeds in the pots and I'm hoping they'll put on a nice show. I'm trying to decide what else to put in the pots...something to trail over the side.
We found out that the huge blaze Tuesday night was a local pallet manufacturer...total loss. Nothing but smoking ruins left.
Today is "in the office" because I've been playing garden hookie for the past couple of days and now I'm starting to get anxiety attacks for fear I'm getting too far behind on what few projects I have. I'll feel better (more saintly) if I work indoors today. Besides, tomorrow morning is JM's big plant sale and I want to go there!
