We had a few days of very good weather it went up to 27C-80F and in anticipation i washed my sleeping bag got the boat ready then headed off some 12 miles up the lake,..island hopping i call it,..had a few overnights on Hare Island where the biggest hoard of Viking Gold was found back in 1802,..11 lbs of gold,..10 gold arm rings,..silver ingots,..silver arm rings,..coins from the middle east,..so i am always keeping an eye open lol.
Most of the islands are now uninhabited and there are lots of very old objects to be seen like the old bath below.
Plus a huge old pot probably used to boil pig feed.
The sleeping bag,..waterproof with lots of gadgets and arms.
Luckily it didn't rain until i arrived home,..and boy did it rain.
I was surprised at how much had grown during my few days away.
Hosta with Lemon Balm in the middle.
Hosta fortunei,'Aureomarginata'.
Hosta,'Gold Standard'.
Hosta,'Patriot'.
I have a Lavatera,'Baby Barnsley',..i liked the bloom on this plant so decided to take two cuttings about three weeks ago they rooted very quickly touch wood they thrive.
The parent plant and the bloom.
