June is always the month I fall so far behind I have to make hard choices where to spend my time
Weeding
Planting
Pruning
Watering
and of course what gets pulled
Sunflowers have been in my garden as volunteers for years. The golden finches love them more than I do but they do add interest to the garden,
I pulled dozens when they were 6 inches tall but now they are 4 foot and ...well in the way , in the path , right where I wanted to put a dahlia , shading the peppers...
The real problem is they just make me smile when they bloom
