I placed order on June 6th with a daylily farm out in California (I will be kind and not mention their name) but they were in the Green pages with several recommendations. I will not recommend them.
I placed my order and realized that I had double ordered some of the plants, so I called them Monday morning see if the plants had already been dug or if it would be possible to redo my order being I had placed another order for some of the same plants. They told me the plants had already been dug, so it was to late to change the order, that was on June 8th. I did get notified by an automated notice that my order was received, nothing after that. I received no more communications from them and today is June 16th.
So I called and the service person Patty said she was busy could I call back later when she was not busy. I said how about calling me back because I won't know when you are free. She agreed and called me back in about 15 min. to tell me my order would go out today! I said you mean the plants I ordered have been sitting there since the 8th already dug and they won't be shipped till today? She said I don't know anything about that, I just know they will go out today. I asked who I needed to talk with, and she did not seem to know. So I asked if I could speak with a manager and she said that the manager Steve would not be in until Thursday. She seemed to have absolutely no concern that the daylilies would have been sitting there all this time, or that they were not dug when I was told, or no concern that I was very unhappy with the whole situation. I just said thanks, and I won't be ordering from ...... Daylily Farm in California anymore, that seemed to be just fine with her also.
Just wanted to vent, thanks.
