October is my second busiest gardening month.Fall clean-up is Second only to the rush of planting in May.

a nice late surprise (Iris in October)
The tartarian aster and pineapple sage are always neck and neck for latest to bloom
picked my last tomato two days before the frost/ freeze 10/15
Then the color showed up.
