Not a garden-related post, but I just had to share this. I was at the gas pump and notice a commotion at the pay by cash kiosk. A young man with a very very very big red pickup truck that is "jacked up" (the suspension altered so that the truck sits much much higher over its wheels than it was originally intended to) is making wah-wah distress cries. I recognize a child in trouble and leap to help *lol*. "What's wrong?" I ask him. I figure he's left his wallet at home and I'll gladly spot him $5 to put a little fuel into the big red beast. No. No, not that. He can't get gasoline INTO the beast. ????????? Seems as if Billy Jo Bob here has spent a fortune at the body shop getting the big red truck boosted up in the air....and they forgot to move the fuel port. In other words, you open the little door that hides the gas cap and SURPRISE! It's not there. It's about 15 inches LOWER and to the left. Absolutely inaccessible. There is no way to get fuel into the truck. And he's (naturally) run it til it's nearly empty. And he's (naturally) no where NEAR the shop where the bone-head work was done. I patted him on the shoulder and wished him luck. Maybe Santa will bring him a brain for Xmas.
