With my greenhouse still in a box and plonked in my sitting room,..it was driving me nuts,..shifted it into the bedroom to no avail,..moved it back into the sitting room and stuck it behind the couch,..didn't work so i left home and headed to the city for a few days,..at least were it raining and it was i could head into shopping Malls.
Three of the days i was away there was 16 inches of rain in 38 hours,..then a further 6 inches in 24 hours,..there will be another 5 inches tomorrow 
that's 27 inches of rain in less than a week,..lots of houses flooded and in my town,..all the rain that fell up north has to flow in our direction so the worst has yet to come,..to give some idea of how high the river has risen the before and after pictures below will give some idea.

I think i got the before and afters correct 
,..seeing i couldn't sleep and arose at 0430.
Some shots i took in the garden as soon as i got home,..then took Molly to see the high water,..i think she forgave me for heading off 
Helleborus ' Christmas Carol/Bears Foot,.. showing two colors.
The Hyacinth in the bottle has rooted.
