I refuse to get on board with this End of All Time stuff due to a bad winter storm. Today's headline says "75 Million Affected". AFFECTED people, not killed. Pretty much it means you won't be able to drive to WalMart today.
Not like I'm not ready: I got my regular groceries in, a little extra cat litter, and I've moved a sack of hen feed into the basement so I won't have to trudge ALL THE WAY down to the shed, then ALL THE WAY up the hill to the henhouse. I really would like to store the feed in the henhouse, but haven't yet found a secure way to do so.
Hard to believe...in just a few weeks, I'll be starting my brassicas. I might spend some time this weekend getting out the flats and pots and whatnot, cleaning/sanitizing everything.
Very cold this morning...a lot colder than I expected, only about 14F. I think it was forecast to be in the 20s.

A little philosophy: I've been thinking for a very long time about reality and truth and all that from a gardener's point of view. I'm starting to see that you need to look at the human experience as three "spaces". There's the space of science. There's the space of religion. And then there's the "third space" where neither of those two human concepts pertain.
