Today (Monday) we got the weather we were supposed to get yesterday; sunny, mild, just a glorious early early spring day. I got more edging and weeding done and even took a swipe at pruning the grape arbor a bit... The next few days are forecast to be heavy rain, so I am glad I was able to get what little I did accomplished. It's always amazing to me how much better the garden looks once you get the edges of the beds cut in nice and cleanly. Someone once told me that if your garden is messy but you have visitors coming, just concentrate on getting the edges cut nice and clean and it will look all right....that seems to work! (I was also told that if your house is mess and you have visitors coming, concentrate on cleaning the entrance door windows and the THRESHOLD, then just pull the curtains or dim the lights *LOL*.)

Had my first appointment with a cardiologist today. About a year ago, I ended up in the emergency room with heart palpitations. The doctor there did an EKG and told me to go home and not worry... But you know how that is... So I finally decided I better get an expert's opinion. She said there's nothing to worry about YET, but wants me to have more tests done before she can make a final diagnosis. I'm hoping that everything will check out OK. I am beginning to think that these "jitters" are related to anxiety, but of course that is just hopeful thinking. It could be any of a number of things. My next follow up with her is in 3 weeks; in that time I need to have blood tests, an Echocardiogram and a holter monitor test done. Keep your fingers crossed. If I can't work in my garden, I'll be calling on all of you to get bus tickets and come help!!
