I am in one of those ruts where I have to spend most of the day sitting in front of the computer, so I'm mentally exhausted by evening, but when I go to bed, I fall asleep then wake up and can't sleep until early morning and then it's time to get up...and then I'm tired all day but have to sit in front of the computer... etc. etc. ad nauseum.
What I really need is a day outside with hard physical exercise so I'm physically tired at night. That isn't going to happen any time soon...today I have 2 projects to finish up in the office, then tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm going to be on the road all day visiting family.
I might try to get outside later and do something...it's sooooo windy again today! we had some nice rain overnight and everything is really starting to wake up. My many forsythia are in full bloom and that's a treat...walls of yellow bloom everywhere. I was watching the sun come up this morning and all of a sudd en...the big Bradford pear in the South Border was in bloom...I swear it opened in the minutes I was watching it. My flowering plum is in full blossom too...so pretty to stand underneath and look up at the blue sky through its white branches. And full of bees! The whole tree is humming with them. I've got several young flowering plums that have come up around the mother tree and I think I'll go ahead and transplant them to various spots around the property. They're just so beautiful in bloom.
Well, back to work.
