I posted a few pictures on the dahlia forum (Getting ready for 2016 season) I have potted up more than 400 dahlia tubers, I will have many to share. I was given a tip to plant the tubers in plastic bags, so I got Quart size baggies and planted in them. I can't believe what a space saver that is. I just hope they will be sprouting and looking good by May 7th, that is our garden club plant sale.
I also have around 70 dahlia tubers yet to come that I ordered through Swan Island Dahlia's and Alpha Dahlia's. I am really excited to get them, they should be here by the end of April when I will just plant them directly in the garden.
I was able to spend all day outside, It was so great! But, Oh, my aching back.
I got the lawn fertilized also which was on my list for today. Now if I could do this every day, I may loose a little weight and get some muscle back.
I need to get the peas in the ground. It has been so wet and I hadn't been feeling well.
You can see all the eyes on this one clump. I got 19 plants from this one. These are the tubers potted up in quart plastic baggies. These are not all of them either.
