LizDTM's blog: Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Posted on Mar 5, 2017 11:49 AM

I loaded the dog in the car yesterday and headed out to Boyce Thompson Aboretum, which is just this side of Superior, AZ. We left early in order to miss the Ren Fair traffic and cruised. There was a bit of a fiasco in the parking lot. This dog has never worn the backpack, and getting him into it was quite the comedy routine. But finally, it was on and off we went. Here are just a few of the pictures I took. Please click them so that you see the full picture.

There were a LOT of aloes, all in bloom.

This is Ayers Lake, one of my favorite spots along the main trail.

The trail goes up from Ayers Lake, and then drops down to parallel Queen Creek.
