Very hot and dry, we really need some serious rain. Had a few showers over the last couple of days but did not do a lot of good.
Spent some time this morning repairing gutter down spouts that feed water into ponds 2 and 3. Ponds are turning green because their is no water feeding in to flush them out. Fixed the pipe to #2. Had to remove walking iris and bromeliads to find the pipe to #3. Got it uncovered but will put the uprooted plants in the ground elsewhere before I disturb the water pipe. Plan is to lift it above ground level, flush it through to find the problem and leave it above ground.
Richard coming over this afternoon to help me take down so small trees. This clump is falling down as they have very little root in very set soil so will cut them down so they fall in the right direction.
