<p>This has been on my mind for some time now and I need to speak about it. ;m going to rant bout it here for lack of a better place.</p>
<p>I keep seeing all sorts of posts online re Cat Rescue organizations begging for people to adopt, and constantly whining because they're running out of room to rescue more cats.</p>
<p>I thought Ic ould help since my home and heart has lots of room. I found a kitty I fell in love with and filled out an adoption form. OMG!!!</p>
<p>It's no wonder they're so full up, they make it almost impossible to adopt one of their animals, it isn't even funny....it's just so sad.</p>
<p>- must feed a raw diet only....I've had many cats live into their 20's feeding them a good quality store food.</p>
<p>- would you be willing to re-mortgage your home to pay for chemo, etc., if your cat got sick...???!!?..this just left me speechless</p>
<p>- cat must never be left alone, if you work, forget about applying.</p>
<p>- can not have a smoker in the house.</p>
<p>- can not have children under 5 in the home.</p>
<p>Really people, you need to be a bit more reasonable. Stop complaining to me because you're out of room and can't rescue any more cats. It's your own fault because apparently nobody but you is good enough to own a cat, ever.</p>
<p>I understand the need to be careful. Really I do. But you all need a reality check.</p>
<p>You won't be getting any more donations from me.</p>
<p>Thank you, I feel a bit better, but no less frustrated, at getting this off my chest.</p>
