Somehow this entire day got up on the wrong side of bed and wasn't going very well. Father's Day is a family day and I had no family anywhere near me. It was a good day to sleep, I thought.
Problem with that is I've never been able to take a daytime nap unless I'm really tired and I was not even near tired today. Finally I picked up my whines and my grumbles and took them outside.
Yesterday my yard was mostly red, but today it was absolutely golden. Did you ever notice how the yellow and orange throats in all those reddish daylilies seem to glow some days; a little like beacons, begging you to follow? I followed.

This golden day sure took care of all my grumbles and whines :)
