slowcala's blog: More Plants

I went back today and got about 29 Rain Lilies, 3 big Mug Warts, 2 bags of Mondo grass, and a big Palm tree. It was hard to get the Mondo grass out because it was planted under a tree and the roots had grown over the bulbs. The Mug Warts were just lying on the ground where they had dozed off the lawn somewhat. I found the Palm tree lying on the ground also and it has a good set of roots. What a haul today! I'm tired and the sun is just too hot. I did manage to get most of my plants in the ground, except for some Mondo grass which I will do this evening after the sun sets.

I walked around the house today and saw that one of my newly planted Rain Lilies had bloomed. Oh, my what a big, beautiful bloom!
This is one of my Portulaca containers on the front porch. I love them.
