slowcala's blog: Crepe Myrtle

Remember back in the spring/summer that I said was being eaten by insects and I cut it down with a chainsaw? Well, it came back. I did not know that they could grow back like that. It looks way better than the original and although I had to tie a big piece of screen around it to hold up the branches for mowing day, it is healthy and blooming. I love it.
