I've got a few sprouts as the one above. And then I have these guys. My experience is usually they get hairy like this and then out comes a sprout. And yes I don't fully plant the seed in the dirt as this is my clue I've got something going on. It works for me at my house.
And some places say it's bacteria and some say hair roots. Whatevs, will see what sprouts forth. Sometimes they start and fail. I just view it as they had enough to fire but not keep on growing. One is from my top of the list and the rest a bit further down. But any and all are welcome!
Makes me wonder what they'll become and how they'll grow. I'm hoping some of these have way wonderful blooms in store. Again all of the seeds I have planted are a mix of sizes, shapes and colors so anything is possible with where the bee traveled too and fro.
It doesn't help that today feels so spring like out there. Snow is pretty melted and I did a quick walk in the yard. Iris have sent up shoots, didn't find my garlic, rabbits have girdled my blueberry bushes. Ah the whole thing of sharing w/ nature. Stupendous.
Somedays I don't want to be so kind.
But they are Gods creatures and I've always been taught to share with them too. Problem is they never go to the extras I have left for them. I had run out of time to wrap the blueberries off w moms need for me there. So the rabbits have at it. Next year the rabbits will have to move onto something else.
Anyway, this was just to be an update on the sprouts. Haha! Happy day all! The weather is crazy strange up here, feels more like April than February 1! We haven't even had a major snow storm, 6" of snow is not that. Weird weather abounds.
