Started up the main pump yesterday. We think we have it figured out where the main falls is leaking. I want to work on the main falls this week to see if I can get it dealt with. Hopefully, we can get the rest of the pumps going soon. Vacuuming the pond and fertilizing waterlilies is a ways out.......
Temps are warming up. Yesterday was 62 and I sat out on the back deck with the fish. It was gorgeous and the fish are starting to move about. I would love to put in the pump for the main falls, but it seems so early. With the bubbler going, it is not a necessity, but still would be so great to get the pond up and running.

Pond heater died. I put in another one and have one more for back up.
I think it is going to be a long cold winter. I already miss sitting outside.
Lifted dahlias today. Many were still green in the stems.
Dahlias are now drying in spare bedroom.
November 17 -
Vacuumed pond. Shut down all pumps except main falls. Brought in pressure filters and uv lights.
Added 11 boxes @4# each salt.
November 19
Shut down main falls and brought in pump.
Temp today 74 degrees
Tomorrow - calling for high of 38 degrees and snow.
