What to remember during holiday marketing
Posted on Feb 28, 2015 2:08 AM

The holidays are nearing an end, which means we’ve seen a lot of great marketing techniques and marketing fails. Holiday marketing can be one of the trickiest things for a business, especially considering the competition gets fierce this time of year. Paypercall marketing is much more effective when you have the right kind of ads. So what things have we learned this year about marketing during the holidays? Here are a few things to remember for the holiday season, thanks to Fox Business.

Focus on gifts to others

Though a lot of people are still buying themselves stuff, they are typically drawn in to your business by thinking of others. Your marketing campaigns during the holiday season need to be focused on giving away great gifts. For example, a company that sells coffee may focus on how coffee is the best gift for any co-worker. People are always looking for ideas of gifts, so offering a recommendation is much more likely to bring in business.

Make them feel good

Another way to bring in more business is by focusing on marketing campaigns that make customers feel good. There are many ways to do this. Maybe you show a family helping others to show how good families own your kind of products. This “feel-good” type of marketing makes a huge impact on people, especially during the holidays when everyone is feeling extra generous.

Stay focused

Sometimes, ads can get a little overwhelming for customers. If it isn’t perfectly clear who you are or what you are selling, it is basically a waste of an ad. People have small attention spans now, which means you will lose customers quickly if the ad is too long or confusing. Stay focused on your theme and product. The more focus and clarity, the more you’ll be able to sell.
