Underplanting Citrus
Posted by chuck from CA on 2001-03-27 01:42:22

I have an orange and a lemon sitting in a 24X4 runway of dirt. I'd like to plant some colorful shrubs to mask the block wall behind. I'm thinking something tropical would look nice, but I'm worried the trees might cause too much shade, and the falling fruit might damage - or be a pain to dig out. Suggestions?
