Wild Flowers and Grass

Wild Flowers and Grass
Posted by Jackie (jdiek@aol.com) from Iowa on 2002-02-22 17:48:21

We have a large area with wild flowers. We are getting a lot of grass working its way in with the flowers. Is there a "weed and feed" ferilizer or a spray that can be put onto the grass and possibly weeds. Because the area is large, hand weeding is not possible. Thanks for any suggestions.

All of the "weed and feed" fertilizers are formulated to "kill" what you want, flowers, and allow the grasses to grow. Your "wild flower" garden is probably doing what its supposed to, attempting to become a prairie again with a mix of flowers (which does include those "Weeds") and grasses.
