How many of you do a daily garden "walk-around" to see what's just come into bloom and what absolutely must be done (or should have been done yesterday), and how do you keep track of all of this?

Very productive bean, great taste! This was the first bean I ever grew, and a regular of mine since. It freezes well, so I can enjoy the fresh McCaslan taste through the colder months.

By bxncbx on Jun 26, 2016 8:46 PM, concerning plant: Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Little Red Warbler')

I've grown Little Red Warbler for years, but after I moved it several times it stopped blooming for me. This year it finally started blooming again and is really putting on a show! I love the rich color of the flowers, but it does have one flaw. It rarely produces pollen in my garden. I hybridize, so I'm not thrilled with that (and neither are the bees that love to collect the pollen).

By mystlw on Jun 26, 2016 7:34 PM, concerning plant: Bell Pepper (Capsicum annuum 'Miniature Chocolate Bell')

Miniature Chocolate Bell is one of my regular container plants and does really well in a window box, so it's treated as an annual. Not a hot pepper, but sadly, does not taste like chocolate. One of the few peppers that is easy to grow in my zone 6a yard.

By mystlw on Jun 26, 2016 7:29 PM, concerning plant: Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Micro Tom')

Micro Tom is a cute novelty plant, with very compact branches that set lots of fruit. My granddaughters love the cute little tomatoes, but most tomato lovers are not impressed with the taste.
I grow them almost every year in a window box and they do really well for me.

By Frillylily on Jun 25, 2016 8:05 AM, concerning plant: Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Blue Pink Beauty')

I love this color, but of course it is not blue. It does have a gray/lavender tone to the pink. It does not, however, open fully for me most of the time. The blooms are large and the substance is heavy. Nice scapes. This color is a little harder to find, so I still have this just for its color, but if I ever found one that opened out better, I'd trade it off.
