Organocide is a fish oil/sesame oil based insecticide/fungicide. The oil can be phytotoxic to some tender leaves and some flower petals. It probably won't harm the unopened buds, though, because the sepals are thicker than the leaves. As for damaging the opened flowers, hibiscus flowers last only a day anyway so you won't be sacrificing much if you spray opened flowers. You might want to do a test spray on a small section of the plant to see how it reacts to the oil. If they show burning after a day in the sunshine, you may want to avoid using the Organocide on your hibiscus. Hope this information helps!
