I purchased some Spagnum Moss and I have a large bin. I was going to spread the moss throughout the bin after they sat out in the sun today. Then put them in the garage? Very little light there, is that the proper technique? Should I spray them periodically to make sure they don't COMPLETELY dry out or do they need to completely dry out? Thanks

Sounds as though you're well on your way to storing your dahlias properly. As long as the bin has openings for fresh air circulation, it will be a good container for your tubers. Place them individually into the sphagnum moss so they are not touching and do check them every month or so to make sure they are not beginning to shrivel. If you see them start to dry out, spritz them with plain water to help rehydrate them. Keep them in a cool, dark location - one that remains above freezing. Good luck with your dahlias!
