Most spring blooming bulbs need several weeks of cold treatment before they will be able to bloom in the spring. In warm winter areas they can be stored in the refrigerator for about 12 weeks and then planted; in cold winter areas they are generally planted in the fall so they can experience a natural cold treatment during the winter months. If you have not kept yours in a cold area (about 40F) you'll want to refrigerate them now and plant them in late February. Sometimes you can stagger the flowering by planing them outdoors about 2 weeks apart. Best wishes with your bulbs!
