after the cold my bamboo ginger plants have lost all there bottom leaves. What do I do now? thanks Carol Pollock

Once the leaves have been damaged by frost they won't regenerate and you'll need to prune them off the plant. I tend to wait a few weeks after the damage appears. It might be that you'll get another cold snap this winter and the dead leaves that remain on the plant can help insulate the roots from damage. Hope the weather warms up for you!
