Is it too late to plant garlic and shallots int he northeast? I would like to try them in pots.

Now is an excellent time to plant garlic and shallots. Plant cloves 4" apart, about 1" deep (so just the tip of the clove is showing). They are perfectly adapted to growng in containers. Hope you have a great harvest!
