Allium (onions), Beans, Carrots, Corn, Melons, Squash, beets, Lima Beans, and parsnips will grow near a walnut tree. Tomatoes and Eggplants are sensitive to juglone so if you want to grow them, plant them in containers in potting soil rather than in the ground, or plant them in another garden as far away from the walnut tree as possible. Good luck with your garden!
