Our front yard has the nicest grass in the neighborhood - bermuda. The back is getting more shady each year and some areas are quite bare. What should we do? What grass would work and would it blend with the bermuda?

TifGrand or Celebration bermudas are the most shade tolerant so if you can find seeds locally you can overseed your existing bermuda lawn. If not, fescues are reasonably shade tolerant. You can overseed bermuda with fescue and you'll end up with a nice green lawn. Best wishes with your backyard!
