| Mushroom compost is typically sterilized before it is packaged up for sale. I'd mix the mushroom compost with manure to make tea for the garden. A manure based compost will provide you with a nutrient rich fertilizer. The manure is placed in a burlap sack and suspended in a barrel of water for 7 to 14 days.
