Hi, I am intrested in knowing what types of plants I need to make a butterfly garden. It will be a raised bed about 4 feet wide by 6 or 7 feet long and get direct sunlight. Thank you so much for your time. Hope to hear from you soon, Thanks again. Richard miller |
Butterflies are attracted to lots of colorful plants. I'd plant flowering tobacco, impatiens, marigolds, phlox, sunflower, verbena, asters, bee balm, butterfly weed, chrysanthemums, daisies, live forever, purple coneflower, bergamot, black-eyed Susan, blazing stars, boneset, butterfly flower, coreopsis, ox-eye daisy, and purple ageratum in any combination. You're sure to have a great showing of butterflies. Enjoy! |
