I have raised garden beds that are all ready for setting starts out, but we have had a lot of rain and the soil, though good, seems a bit wet. What can I add so the starts don't rot/drown? There is no standing water, plenty of drainage, but the dirt just seems so wet. Thank you!

Raised beds usually drain fast so you may simply need to wait a few days before setting out your seedlings. If you're really anxious to get out and plant you can try incorporating some compost or other organic matter into the soil prior to planting. I just spread 2-3 inches over the entire bed and then dig it in with a shovel. Level the bed and then plant. The soil should be fluffed up, should drain quickly, and ready to receive plants.
