| The problem with most weeds is that they flower and drop seeds so even though you dig them out or kill the weeds with herbicides, their seeds are sitting in the soil just waiting to sprout. I'd use a weed and feed product that contains a corn gluten meal pre emergent (Scotts Turfbuilder plus Halts is one brand name). It will feed your lawn, kill the existing weeds and the pre emergent will keep weed seeds from germinating. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Best wishes with your lawn. |
