Creme Brtulee Petunias - Knowledgebase Question

don't think this went through the first time... sorry if a duplicate...
I purchase thwe gorgeous Creme Brulee variety petunias last weekend and planted them... Over the past week they have turned quite pink, not just at the tips of the petals as described... The plants still at Home Depot have also turned pink too... Is there anything I can do to lessen the pink color?

Creme Brulee petunias have a gorgeous russet throat and the color should remain true, however, I've had similar experiences with the colors fading when they are in hot afternoon sunshine. Although petunias usually thrive in all day sunshine, hot afternoon sun can fade the flower color. You may need to plant yours where they get morning sun and filtered afternoon sun to help them maintain their vibrant colors.
