| You can plant bareroot roses in February or March and potted roses in spring or fall. I'd avoid planting in the middle of summer, though. Transplanting can stress a rose,and if the weather is hot and humid, it will take the plant longer to establish. Since it's not yet officially summer, you can plant your roses now.
