Can someone suggest a ground cover or low plants that could survive under or around the base of Twilight Ornamental Grass? we are in zone 6a - full sun is the key element

You folks were a great help. Another question about ornamental grass. Mine seems to like to lay down - does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to help it stand up on its own?

Not familiar with Twilight Grass but looks like a Schizarinchium/ Little Bluestem maybe? I would suggest some lower growing asters, gaillardia, coreopsis, or echinacea to name a few. Lots of ground cover sedums, or some shorter Cranesbill such as bloody Cranesbill would also be good choices. Even some other shorter grasses would do well there as well. All like full sun and tolerate drier conditions. Good luck!

I like the look of Creeping Phlox - Phlox subulata and/or Creeping Thyme - Thymus praecox.
