I've had this succulent since July 24th, but I noticed that two days ago something was growing from the middle of it. It's grown almost four inches in three days. Is it propagating? If so, how do I detach it? When do I detach it? I've added an image of it below.

Thanks!

That's its flower. Flowers produce seeds and that is one way that plants propagate.

It looks healthy and well cared for. Keep up the good work! Enjoy the flower and cut off the entire stem once the flower starts to turn brown and dry.

Your succulent is about to present you with flowers. That is it's bloom stalk.
