Hello I am new to gardening I live in northern Virginia, so I have plant this plant I think its pumpkin and also watermelon (I don't which one it is because i didn't label it) and it started turning white on the top and the leafs became stiff and it started to die, and it spread to plants around it I think. Or the soil might be low in potassium, I am kind of lost here but here is some images

Could be deficiency. Have your soil tested, local co-cooperative or nursery will do it. Take sample of plant also.
Could be blight also. spray with a couple Tablespoons of baking soda in gallon of water might help, it won't hurt.

Most of the leaves I can indentify in the pictures are watermelon leaves. Are you watering a lot? Watermelons really don't need very much water once they get going and excessive moisture can make them vulnerable to a variety of fungal diseases.
