| Canada Yew and winterberry are excellent evergreens for your region. Rose of Sharon is not evergreen and in your winters will die down to ground level each winter. Hardy hostas will grow in your region. They will die down at the end of the growing season but will develop new foliage each spring. Hope this answers all your questions.
