I have a lima bean on a teepee, it looks with great but last week I noticed what I think are aphids (small black clusters of sticky bugs? I am beginner gardener) There are lots of ants too going up and down the bean & really are all over my raised bed. I have been hosing the pests off and using different organic insecticides (garlic, soap, hot sauce rubbing alcohol etc.) but they keep coming back

Insecticidal soaps kill aphids on contact but aphids give birth to live aphids, which are capable of giving birth within a few days. So, you can have 3 or 4 generations of aphids feeding on your bean plants at the same time. Repeat sprays are necessary to control them all. Or may have have to use something with some residual powers such as Bonide?s Total Pest Control which provides excellent, long-lasting control of problem insects. You'll find it in your local garden center. Good luck with your lima beans.
